Tuesday night...
After many weigh-ins we finally got the bags pack to the limit of 50 lbs. Thanks to a digital scale from Doris's neighbor we feel certain on the weights. In order to take all the important stuff, my carry on bag has all my clothes, laptop, and camers for the trip. I might be down at the river washing clothes sometime soon.. ;) Started the malaria medicine, "take with food and if you vomit within an hour take another dose" was part of a long instruction list. Good news, I did not pray to the porcelain god within the hour....
Last minute stuff then drive to Wichita for a flight to Memphis.......then Amsterdam, then Abuja Nigeria. Doris has a seat in the middle of 5 and I have an isle chair, probably with an infant behind me that is teething and has ears that can't adjust to cabin pressure changes. Time will tell who has the better seat........

Nigeria
The Plans.....
Leave this Wednesday with Doris for Abuja, Nigeria then on to Kaduna to flim eye surgeries for Nigerian doctors learning some new procedures. Next stop is Zaria to work at the Hope For The Blind Foundation's school. We will install an amateur radio station for use by the students. "this will bring the world to them"
