Were back!

Dateline, Thursday September 14,2006

All flights went smoothly and landed in Wichita around 4pm, almost 35 hours of travel time. It was nice to have some turbulence over the Atlantic just to get shaken around after setting in the seat for 5+ hours, too bad it woke up the toddlers 4 rows in front of me…..

The radio system is a success! All the hard work done by the university students and staff have paid off with them talking to many countries in Europe. They are having their world opened up for them. And when the ham radio operator in Rome told them they have a place to stay when they come to Rome, they were thrilled someone who they just met on the airways would make that offer.

Will start sifting through the 1500 digital pictures we took to make an album for the web site and here, maybe a CD….
